Digital Worlds was founded as a partnership in 1998, incorporated as Digital Worlds International Ltd in 2000 and is wholly owned by its founders Jason Sawle and Richard Pole.

The company is a leader in the development and delivery of GIS as a curriculum teaching tool and was the first to introduce a comprehensive solution of high quality software and data for schools in the UK.

The company has also participated in a number of UK and European Union funded projects and supplies it software to the largest schools GIS project in the EU, the Dakini Project. Digital Worlds takes great pride in its products and delivering excellent customer service to hundreds of schools currently using Digital Worlds GIS.
